WELCOME ALL TRAVELLERS!
Since 1960, Nicolston Dam has offered water front camping along the Nottawasaga River, hosting 86 sites family owned and operated. Like a breath of fresh spring air, our hidden jewel will conjure up happy memories of childhood camping trips.
Choose one of our beautiful shady riverside campsites or enjoy an open sunny space. We offer both 15 and 30 amp sites with convenient water hook ups, as well as unserviced sites nestled along side the Nottawasaga River to reconnect with nature!
Relax the day away casting a line, swimming in the pool, with a game of mini golf, soccer, or canoeing/kayaking on the Nottawasaga River. Wi-Fi $, laundromat, playgrounds, ice, firewood and security gates are some other great features here at the Dam! We pride our campers in recycling as much as possible in our bins for composting, cardboard, plastic, etc. Alcohol bottles collected for charity.
Located just off Hwy 89 in Essa, we’re right between Cookstown and Alliston. We are walking distance to the Nottawasaga Inn. Enjoy a relaxing getaway surrounded by the fresh country air and tranquil setting of the Nottawasaga Valley. An easy 45 minute drive from Toronto, 13 km off the 400 Hwy, exit 75.
